Home Instead is a leading provider of home care services dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. We are committed to providing compassionate and personalized care that promotes independence and well-being.

We are currently seeking a part-time Trainer with a background in caregiving and experience in the senior care industry to join our team. The Trainer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to our caregivers, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional care to our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide training for caregivers on various topics related to senior care, including but not limited to:

- Personal care assistance
- Medication reminders
- Safety protocols
- Communication skills
- Stay up-to-date with state requirements and regulations pertaining to home care services, and incorporate this knowledge into training materials.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate caregivers' proficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to caregivers to enhance their professional development.
- Collaborate with management to continuously improve training programs and materials.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in the senior care industry, with a strong background in caregiving.
- Familiarity with state requirements and regulations governing home care services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude towards seniors and individuals with disabilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in caregiving or a related field.
- Experience in developing training materials and curriculum.
