The** Informatics Manager** will be responsible for efficient daily team operation, in addition to the effective development, coordination, and delivery of the clinical informatics programs, including training for newly hired clinical staff, continuing education for clinicians, and specialized training for upgrades and changes. **MUST BE EPIC CERTIFIED**

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities include **(but are not limited to):

- Strong working knowledge of training and development principles and practices
- Working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, e.g., TJC, HIPAA, and NHPCO
- Strong knowledge of Epic or other electronic healthcare systems
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and program information, and procedures
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, clients, and the public

**Education/Experience**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, or Physical Therapy. Master's degree or greater preferred
- hospice and/or home health certification preferred
- Epic certification (Home Health and Hospice).
- Minimum of three years of nursing, social work practice, or physical therapy experience ideally in a home health, hospice, or Community health setting (including use of EMR and other clinical information systems within the past five years
- Experience with adult clinical education, training, and development strongly preferred

**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations**:

- Current active CA state license in their clinical field
- Current California Driver's License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car
