Grounds and Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grounds and Maintenance person to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge and experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care and basic maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning
- Operate hand tools and power tools to complete various tasks
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration
- Remove debris and maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement landscaping plan
- Perform basic maintenance as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in groundskeeping or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in groundskeeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Elburn, IL 60119 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Elburn, IL 60119: Relocate before starting work (required)
