**Summary**:
Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the elementary school administrative office. Provide administrative assistance to the Principal, office and school staff and students by answering/ screening phone calls and the front door, handling the health needs of students, managing crisis situations, handling confidential information, and other related duties. In addition, the office manager will maintain the lunch and aftercare programs by ordering food and materials and scheduling staff.

**Experience needed**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Office management experience preferred.
- Experience working with elementary students preferred.

- Principal

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greet, welcome, and assist all staff, students, parents, community members, callers, and visitors to the school. Answer phones, provide information, take and deliver messages, and direct callers to appropriate school areas. Diffuse conflicts and/ or difficult situations as needed in the school office. Monitor students sent to the school office for disciplinary reasons.
- Monitor building visitors, visitor sign-in procedures, and building activities including crisis situations such as building evacuations, lockdowns, emergency situations and safety procedures.
- Assess and address the health needs of students sent to the school office.
- Create the monthly lunch menu and order all necessary food and materials for the lunch program and fundraising events.
- Submit monthly milk reports to the Diocese of Wilmington.
- Train and schedule staff for the aftercare program. Address any staffing issues that arise throughout the year.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned, including providing back-up coverage to other positions and contacting parents/ guardians as necessary.

- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

**Additional Preferred Qualifications**:

- Operating knowledge of and experience with G Suite platform for education.
- Operating knowledge of and experience with typical office equipment, such as telephones, copier, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

- Perryville, MD 21903: Relocate before starting work (required)
