**TOMI ENGINEERING, Inc **is an Aerospace Manufacturing Company in Santa Ana (92707) has an immediate opening for an experienced Receiving Inspector. Duties will include performing inspections, check, test, and sampling procedures of incoming material. Inspect goods received against purchase orders on all types of purchased parts, assemblies, and materials.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Perform inspections of purchased parts, sub-assemblies or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical measurements.
Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, and segregation of inspected items to maintain traceability and prevent mix-ups.
Must be adaptable to a changing environment, is able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Receive orders against Purchase Orders, put stock away in warehouse.
**Education, Training, Skills, and Experience Requirements**:
**Attention to Detail is a must** and ability to follow standard procedures.
- Working knowledge of measurement instruments
- Understanding and working Knowledge of AS 9100/ISO-9001 quality systems specifications
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
- Arithmetic skills are required
- Spanish speaking helpful but not required.
- 2+ years Quality Control experience in Receiving Inspection is preferred.
- Operate a forklift.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
**PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS**:
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to stretch, bend and reach work areas.
Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, stoop, lift, and move parts, tooling or inspection equipment weighing 50 pounds or less.
Ability to perform essential functions of the job, as defined reasonable accommodations provided upon request.
