Hostess/cashier

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

**Duties**:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide menus
- Take reservations and manage waitlists
- Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
- Operate the POS system (Aloha POS) to process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations effectively
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: From $8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
