Packaging Associate

**East Coast Cannabis** is seeking a motivated and hard-working **Packaging Associate** to join our **ECC **Manufacturing Team in Eliot, Maine. This is an entry level position with room for growth for hardworking and dedicated employees. This is a demanding yet rewarding position, no experience is required, all training will be provided although any production or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Our **ECC’s** Manufacturing team is an efficient group who works together to packaging high-end flower, pre-rolls, edibles, and concentrates. As a **Packaging Associate**, you will be responsible for packaging a variety of cannabis goods, inspecting finished products, and assisting with other responsibilities such as cleaning and organizing. This is a physical and repetitive packaging role, each day we strive to have fun while packaging high-end cannabis goods.

Responsibilities as a **Packaging Associate** include but are not limited to the following
- Packaging of a variety of cannabis products, such as but not limited to
- Edibles
- Flower
- Pre-Rolls
- Vapes & Concentrates
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Maintain steady packaging rates to meet our weekly demands.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.
- Assistant with unloading and organizing packaging and manufacturing supplies.
- Assist with facility cleaning responsibilities.
- Ability to change tasks quickly if needed.
- Appropriately use scales to weigh flower for eighths, quarters, pre-rolls, etc.
- Properly and safely operate heat sealing equipment.
- Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills and communication.
- Exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company.
- Ability to follow instructions and follow through with the specific task.

Hourly: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week.

Schedule:

- Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- Second shift (after training) 2:00pm-8:00pm Weekends as needed 8:00am-4:00pm

**Pay range**:$17 per hour**:
**Required skills**:

- Must be 21 years or older.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. multiple times daily if necessary.
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on kitchen production’s needs.
- Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
- Second shift (after training) 12:00pm-8:00pm Weekends as needed 8:00am-4:00pm
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to obtain an Induvial Identification Card provide by The Office of Cannabis Policy. Please see link below
