**MASHPEE PUBLIC SCHOOLS (MPS)**

**DATA ANALYST-Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) **(FY 25 PILOT)**

**OBJECTIVE**:

- Support the District’s goal of honoring diversity, providing equity, and ensuring inclusion throughout our schools
- Generate, interpret, and share reports, presentations, and surveys that support the District’s ability to measure and track progress towards the goals in Mashpee’s Plan for Success
- Collect, analyze, and translate academic, attendance, discipline, participation, survey, and other relevant data to ensure its content and implications are accessible by all stakeholders
- Make recommendations for next steps to the District-Based Leadership Team (DBLT)

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Identifies growth areas relative to the goals in Mashpee’s Plan for Success
- Engages with diverse audiences regarding analysis of data, and clearly articulates complex terms and concepts
- Assists in developing and coordinating assessments and surveys in close collaboration with the DBLT, analyzing and communicating results and compiling the data for reports
- Effectively shares analysis of data through presentations, reports, and other documents
- Conducts research and reviews historical data in order to analyze data trends
- Based on analysis of data, makes recommendations for systemic changes, as warranted

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Master’s degree or higher
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in a public school setting
- High proficiency using Google-based products and with data visualization/analytical tools
- Proven track record with strong and clear written and oral communication, analytical skills, data collection, data visualization, and project management skills; high level of attention to detail and accuracy; ability to routinely manage and interpret large data sets
- Experience and/or education in DEIB best practices in an educational setting
- Ability to lead effectively while being a team player
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently while collaborating effectively with all stakeholders-DBLT, staff, students, families, community
- Strong presentation skills and initiative; ability to explain complex problems to various audiences and to actively collaborate on next steps and solutions
- Ability to think critically when evaluating, analyzing and reporting data, to make sound decisions, and to demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to strategically maintain financial/budgetary information and prioritize and manage time effectively
- Strong problem solving and data-driven decision-making skills
- Culturally responsive mindset and practice

**REPORTS TO**: Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent

**LENGTH OF WORK YEAR**: Year Round Part-Time (2 days per week-104 days) **SALARY: NEGOTIABLE
