**Job Opportunity**:

Our shop is seeking an individual with mechanical experience/aptitude, attention to detail, is organized, likes working outdoors and in a workshop. Part of the Technician responsibilities are Installing & Servicing Awnings, Solar Screens, Pergola Shade Structures, Custom Canvas and Cushion products. It includes drilling into the studs or headers of buildings, lift up to 85lbs. on occasion and assisting in all areas of the business as needed.

- **Skills**:

- Experienced using hand and power tools and climb ladders safely
- Customer-service & product oriented
- Able to complete tasks with mínimal supervision
- Enjoy being busy and working outdoors
- Able to propose solutions to challenges
- Templating
- Upholstery, Cushions, Awning stitching, cutting, fabrication (on job training for the right individual)
- Home contractors license, project management or equivalent experience
- Safely drive company vehicles
- **Product knowledge** - must have a passion for learning and growing
- **Communication skills** - communication is vital, and company representatives must demonstrate that they are active listeners that work together with the Ocean Tailors team toward the same goals.
- **Interpersonal skills** - Friendliness and establishing rapport. Ability to enjoy your work and the people you work with.Our **INSTALLATION / SERVICE & WORKROOM TECHNICIAN**

Must be an enthusiastic self-starter, enjoy working as a team and independently, motivated, high attention to detail and quality. We are looking for someone that takes pride in their work, & enjoys problem solving.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
