The Embroidery Operator will work on a wide range of projects where requirements will vary based on the job at hand. The Embroidery Operator will be responsible for handling all aspects of the design and production of each embroidery project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform all aspects of designing and stitching apparel, like shirts and hats, on a wide range of materials
- Clean and maintain workspace and storage areas
- Perform all aspects of machine setup and daily maintenance. This typical includes installing and maintaining spools of threads and thread paths, inspecting the machine and adjusting settings for optimal results.
- Light maintenance and cleaning of equipment for optimal performance
- Keeping up with inventory and advising when supplies are needed.
- Coordinate with customer service staff to ensure all production deadlines are met
- Responsible for maintaining excellence through the production process to ensure high-level quality and craftsmanship for all projects
- Abide by and maintain all ABC Copy Co policies, procedures and standards of practice

**Requirements**:
**Experience & Skills**:

- High school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree preferred
- 1+ years of embroidery experience with a good understanding of stitch design techniques
- Strong attention to detail fused with great multi-tasking ability
- Ability to read rulers and measure with high accuracy
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a group and operate efficiently in a time sensitive environment
- Must have the ability to lift and or move up to 60 lbs and stand/walk for full 8 + hour shift
- Ability & experience with using light power equipment/tools
- Strong verbal & communication skills
- Must have personal vehicle and ability to drive to off-site locations as needed (Driver’s license required)
- Willing to work outside regular business hours as customer demands dictate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
