The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of _Part Time Banquet Set Up_ at the Morris Inn. The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

**Why this position?**
The _Banquet Set Up _position has the responsibility to set, maintain and refresh all banquet meeting rooms, dining rooms, and other spaces as needed in the Morris Inn Hotel and Notre Dame Conference Center according to the specifications of the Banquet Event Order form, room diagram, and Morris Inn standards. This person will gather supplies for banquet events prior to the event and perform the necessary cleaning duties required after the event. The _Banquet Set Up_ position must ensure that all banquet and meeting rooms are properly set up and torn down in a safe and timely manner.

- Work as part of a team as well as work alone with limited direct supervision
- Speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace and communicate effectively

- Exercise good judgment and solve problems
- Maintain emotional control and persevere in stressful situations
- Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance to standards
- Conditions in this position may be indoor or outdoor settings, depending on banquet location; varied weather conditions are expected working in this position
- Varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as business dictates

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED
- 6 to 12 months of experience
- Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours with heavy work; exerting up to 100 pounds
