The Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) at our IOP/PHP and detox facilities plays a crucial role in providing therapeutic support to individuals as they navigate the challenges of substance detoxification. This position involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering counseling services with a focus on addiction treatment.

**Responsibilities**:
**Assessment and Treatment Planning**:Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychological, emotional, and relational well-being. Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans that address both substance use and family-related issues.

**Individual Counseling**:Provide individual therapy sessions to clients, addressing underlying psychological issues related to substance use.

**Crisis Intervention**:Be available for crisis intervention and support for clients during the detoxification process. Collaborate with the treatment team to address any emergent mental health concerns.

**Psychoeducation**:Offer psychoeducational sessions to clients on addiction, recovery, and the impact on family systems. Provide information on coping strategies, communication skills, and relapse prevention.

**Documentation and Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any relevant assessments. Ensure compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality, and all relevant regulations.

**Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team**:Work collaboratively with detox facility staff, including medical professionals, counselors, and support personnel. Participate in case conferences and team meetings to provide input on the overall treatment approach.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
