Wellwise Pharmacy is a relatively new pharmacy in the Greater Houston Area. The pharmacy is implementing new marketing and operation strategies to revamp and build business. As such, we’re looking for a dedicated pharmacy tech to assist us in this growth process Pharmacy technician must be licensed in the state of Texas and preferably bilingual (fluent in Spanish). Experience with independent pharmacies and systems (namely BestRX) is preferred but not mandatory. Technician will be joining a growing & expanding company with the benefits of job security, Fridays and weekends off to travel or do as you please while we build business, without the stress and hectic work life of working at a major retail chain.

Hours of Operation:
- 11am-2pm, then incrementally extend to 10am-4pm
**Responsibilities**:
- Display a positive attitude.
- Dispensing and counting medications/prescriptions
- Maintain a clean and organized facility
- Provide excellent customer service
- Answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining and completing RX filing
- Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
- Update patient profiles with data with collect during visits
- Process codes to bill for counseling/provider services (training provided)
- Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory for outdates
- Enter the patient's information into the computer accurately and efficiently
- Tender customer transactions in a quick and efficient manner
- Maintain inventory of OTC, prescription medications, & (future) snacks, drinks, and other point of sale items
- Fulfilling shipping request for patients
- Assist Pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a judgment call by a Pharmacist
- Undertaking all duties and responsibilities assigned to benefit the operation of the pharmacy
**Experience**:
- pharmacy tech: 1 year (preferred)
License:
