**Center for Human Services** (CHS) is seeking a leader who is detail-oriented and innovative to join our **Youth Services **team as **Program Manager **serving as liaison for the department between school sites, partners and program staff. This full-time opportunity works primarily M-F daytime in the office and may include evenings and occasional weekends.

***:Supports implementation of department plan and assists Director with all aspects of leadership and change processes. Responsible for department’s infrastructure and systems including hiring, training, data management, reporting and policy/procedures.

**DUTIES**:

- Take the lead in managing all aspects of department hiring.
- Works with Youth Services Coordinators to create and provide coaching and skill-building plans for staff as needed.
- Implements department plan goals as identified by Youth Services Director
- Develops new and modifies existing policy & procedures as needed.
- Actively monitors and ensures successful performance and completion of contract requirements.
- Lead trainer works in collaboration with Youth Services Coordinators to implement all aspects of Youth Services training for new employees, including:

- Develop trainings in multiple formats
- Establish training requirements by position
- Identify and equips internal/external trainers
- Develop department’s annual training calendar
- Monitor staff compliance with training expectations
- Utilize training evaluations to modify training plan as needed.
- Ensures department data is collected and outcomes reported both internally and externally.
- Establishes and implements department’s data reporting plan & schedule
- Manages Youth Services database and works with CHS Data Administrator to create reports/modify as needed.
- Develops evaluations tools and ensures appropriate collection of data for program and staff evaluation purposes and as required by agency contracts and grants.
- Develops written reports as assigned and required by funders, agency and/or individual work plan.
- Provide site relation coaching and support to Youth Services Coordinators.
- Actively participates in mid-level leadership team and contributes to overarching CHS goals and objectives.
- Represents the agency at internal/external meetings as identified.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- B.A./B.S. required in Social Services or related field.
- 2 years Program Management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial monitoring.
- Possesses grant-writing skills.
- Professionally developed leadership skills.
- Pass agency paid TB (Tuberculosis) screening.
- Pass agency paid criminal justice screening including fingerprints.
- Pass agency paid health screening and/or drug testing, if required.
- Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance coverage.
- Pass agency paid MVR clearance with no more than 2 points - if you are under the age of 25 our insurance company will not allow **any** points.

- Maintain confidentiality and confidential information in accordance with legal standards and/or agency regulations.
- Participate in assigned scheduled agency meetings, in-service trainings, conferences and other trainings as determined by the supervisor. This includes serving as an agency representative at assigned community meetings.
- Observance of assigned working hours and program appointments by demonstrating promptness and thorough preparation.
- Performance of assigned duties with a positive attitude and in the spirit of teamwork, collaboration and cooperation.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Perform job duties in a safe manner to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
- Participates in and/or supports agency fund development activities and events.
- Preparation of assigned reports, work records, statistical data, job performance evaluations, work plans, etc. in a timely manner.
