**Job Title**: Phlebotomist

**Location**: Fairfield CA 94535, Mare Island CA 94592, Martinez CA 94553

**Duration**: 12+ months (options for 26 week contract to Long term)

**Start Date**: Oct 2024

**Shift Schedule**: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m (Monday through Friday)

**Pay rate: $ **40/hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform venipuncture by following published Laboratory procedures.
- Collect adequate and properly labeled specimen
- Properly determine current clinician orders in the computer, per Laboratory procedures
- Perform waived and/or non-waived testing.
- Process specimens for testing and/or shipment to another laboratory for testing.
- Make contacts with patients, relatives, staff members, and coworkers in a concerned, compassionate and helpful manner.
- Promote a harmonious and cooperative working environment in their interaction with co-workers and supervisors

**Qualification**:
**License**: Current, Certified Phlebotomy Technician State of California

**Experience**:

- Minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience performing venipunctures in a clinic or hospital setting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
