Cashier/ Barista

Luce Coffee Roasters (Richmond and Pearland location) are looking for friendly Cashiers and experienced BARISTAS to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea.

Barista/cashier responsibilities include:

- effectively communicating menu items to customers
- upholding the Luce standard of excellent customer service
- making recommendations based on customer preferences
- up-selling limited special items
- maintaining a clean work environment in the front/back of the house
- maintaining efficient bar flow through clear communication

Preferred skills
- foundational knowledge on specialty coffee
- barista foundational skills (milk steaming, calibration, pour over...)

Prospective hires are expected to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Luce is a high volume specialty coffee shop, and it is pertinent to be able to work quickly and efficiently, but still serving excellent coffee, and still providing a quality customer service experience.

- Minimum one year experience as a BARISTA (management is a plus)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
