Youth Mentor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Mentor to join our team. As a Youth Mentor, you will work closely with children and adolescents, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to help them navigate challenges and achieve personal growth.

**Duties**:

- Educate and support children and adolescents in various aspects of their lives
- Utilize knowledge of child welfare and behavioral health to address individual needs
- Engage in activities that promote positive development and well-being
- Provide mentorship and guidance to enhance social skills and emotional intelligence
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to create a supportive network for the youth
- Assist in conflict management and resolution

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children or adolescents
- Knowledge of childcare practices and child development
- Background in social work, special education, or related fields
- Strong mentoring and coaching abilities
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 10 per week
