Hatchery - Drivers

JOB SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.-
- Safe loading and unloading of waste tanks to scheduled disposal sites.-
- Safely operate tractor trailer.-
- Loading chicks into truck at the hatchery and unloading truck at the growers.-
- Tracking all mileage logs and vehicle condition report.-
- Loading and unloading empty & full egg racks at the farms and the hatchery.-
- Fuel truck.-
- Keep truck and trailers clean.-
- Report any mechanical problems, necessary maintenance to employee responsible for these things.-
- Accurately maintain delivery paperwork
- All runs home daily.
- Pick-up and delivery schedules posted 3 weeks in advance.
- Agricultural HOS
- Able to work as a member of team and be helpful to others as needed.
- Must be physically capable of independently handling bulky trolley-equipment.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Class A, CDL and some road experience.
- Tanker Endorsement required or willingness to obtain.
- Clean Driving Record

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
