**Job Description: Surgery Coordinator / Treatment Coordinator**

We're growing, and looking for a **positive, fun, articulate, and results oriented **individual to support our clients by helping them coordinate the finances and logistics of their treatments and surgeries.

The surgery scheduler and treatment coordinator works alongside the Doctors to ensure safe and effective patient care in compliance with our organization’s standards and policies, and takes ownership of supporting our clients with the logistics and finances of in-office treatment and outpatient surgery therapies.

**Highlights**:

- This is a full time phone position: Monday to Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm.
- Compensation is hourly starting at $25 to $27+ per hour, depending on experience.
- Estimated annual compensation would be $55,000+ with performance bonus opportunities available.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Learn and demonstrate skill with SMPG’s standards for client presentations
- Coordinate, schedule, and prepare treatment presentations for the Doctors and Clients.
- Maintains the Doctors’ surgery calendar in the practice management system
- Manage the treatment pipeline, prioritizing and moving cases to completion
- Send treatment proposals, consent forms, and patient education information
- Assembling and maintaining patient charts in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Ensure patient pre-operative tests are sent and results received as needed, and documented
- Preparing, submitting, and obtaining prior authorization to health insurances as needed
- Coordinate and schedule case details for the client, surgery center or hospital, and industry sales reps
- Coordinate and schedule post procedure visits and imaging for clients to ensure excellent results
- Measure, strive, and exceed activity and revenue goals

**Should you be hired, this is what the next three months looks like**:
**First 30 Days**: You’ll get onboarded and learn our proven process, including treatments and procedures, and work alongside our team to see our process in action. You’ll train and practice independently to improve skill and familiarity.

**60 Days**: Working alongside the Doctors and team, you’ll be able to execute the steps of our coordination process, and gain confidence with your knowledge of what we do and how we’re different.

**90 Days**: You’ll be working independently, driving cases to completion, with a great understanding of our process. You’ll be improving your proficiency and actually answering questions (with the Doctors’ help, of course) and be able to help train and onboard new hires.

**Qualifications**

**Required**:

- Strong verbal and written English communication
- Ability to follow policies and procedures, while working in a self-directed way
- Ability to organize complex thoughts and ideas into written form, while following organizational policy
- Strong ability to take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions. Able to detach, maintain objectivity and separate themselves in frustrating situations while guiding customers to efficient solutions.
- Prior customer support and/or customer success or sales experience
- Must be a people person with a great attitude and attention to detail
- Strong telephone, communication and time management skills
- Education: Associates Degree, or higher
- Experience: 1-5 years of comparable medical and / or administrative experience

**Preferred**:

- 5+ years of progressively responsible relevant
- Knowledge of MacOS, G-Suite, and VOIP Phone Console
- Prior experience with treatment and surgery coordination is desired
- Basic familiarity with BANT and SPIN techniques
