**About This Role**

As a Site Surveyor, your job duties will include, provide professional site auditing services to obtain and communicate the necessary technical data to these teams for the preparation of project scope information needed to adequately propose a solar system design, as well as provide permit ready documents needed to facilitate the installation of solar systems.

**Responsibilities**
- As a Site Surveyor, you will be our primary point of contact on the ground and integrally involved with the entire process of helping customers go solar
- Effectively manage your schedule to complete several time sensitive tasks daily
- Create detailed rooftop map layout for solar arrays including roof layout dimensions and all roof penetrations (pipes, vents etc.)
- Performs site survey appointments as scheduled, collecting site information and preparing deliverable packages for downstream teams
- Prepare site audit documents as needed to coordinate with design/engineering department to produce permit-ready documents
- Clearly understand simple geometry as it relates to calculating area and material panel layouts on projects
- Surveyors must be responsible and able to manage their own schedule to ensure that all necessary tasks are followed through on, with mínimal outside management
- ‪Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Ability to understand, read, and comprehends contract documents, plans and written and verbal communication skills required in order to prepare site audit documents and conduct site audit meetings with customers
- 1 year of roof work or general construction experience is preferred.
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements and have valid drivers license
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to safely handle power tools and hand tools as well as materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc
- Excellent customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attendance is essential for the team to achieve success
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements and have valid driver's license while maintaining a clean driving record

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to withstand heights, be on roofs, and climb ladders **(Daily)**:

- Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs. routinely **(Daily)**:

- Ability to work in 0-100+ degree weather, as well as in wet and dry conditions
- Ability to move around for prolonged periods. standing, kneeling, bending, Squat and climbing ladders **(Daily)**:

- 8-hour shift
- 10-hour shift
- 12-hour shift
