The Fiber Splicing Technician will be responsible for the installation, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables in both outdoor and indoor settings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performing cable splicing and termination according to industry standards.
- Reading and following design engineers' instructions and specifications.
- Maintaining control of outside plant (OSP) activities at assigned work sites.
- Interpreting splice diagrams and telecom facility records to make recommendations for fiber assignments.
- Understanding and adhering to customer timelines.
- Preparing engineering field notes and maintaining accurate records.
- Troubleshooting and repairing fiber optic cable faults to maintain network connectivity.
- Validating end-to-end service provisioning for the cable network.
- Adhering to safety procedures and government regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance, as well as competencies in fiber optic splicing, testing, and cable handling.
- Strong attention to detail, time-planning and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, as well as integrity and willingness to work according to company's policies and standards.
