The _**_Boris Sagal Fellowship _**_was established by Trustee Emeritus Marge Champion in memory of her late husband in 1987 and is awarded to a director who is making the transition to a professional career._

Details about this Fellowship are as follows:

- Assigned to assist Water Bobbie, director of PAMELA PALMER by David Ives, to be presented on the CenterStage as part of the 2024 WTF Season. Fellow will assist with and observe the professional rehearsal/production process of the show.
- Fellow will cast and direct a reading with a one day rehearsal process, to be presented by the Festival in the fall of 2024 in New York City.
- Fellow agrees to embrace the Festival’s commitment to EDIA and Anti-racism by actively participating in and encouraging behaviors among participants members that exemplify respect; interrupting microaggressions and other behaviors that hinder our EDIA and Anti-racism efforts; engaging in the diversification of the festival; demonstrating a degree of cultural competency that encourages healthy relationships with all company members.
- Fellow is expected to complete the production process in-person for the first 2 weeks in NYC, the remainder in Williamstown, MA, and be in NYC for the reading of their directed work in the fall.
- Production Dates:

- Tuesday, July 2nd - Sunday, July 14: Rehearsal in NYC
- Monday, July 15: Travel to Williamstown, MA
- Tuesday, July 16 - Thursday, July 18: Rehearsal in Williamstown, MA
- Friday, July 19th - Tech Rehearsal begins
- Tuesday, July 23rd - 1st Performance
- Thursday, July 25th - AEA Opening
- Saturday, August 10th - Closing

**Materials will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis, but we strongly encourage you to submit them by May 1, 2024. Fellows will receive a stipend of $1,000/week.
