Overview:
As a cashier at our sub shop your responsibilities include answering phones, taking orders from customers at the counter, preparing food items and accepting payment from customers using our cash register. Open to applicants 16 years or older. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be reliable.

Part-time hours M-F 4pm-9pm and weekends 6am-10pm as needed

**Duties**:

- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scan items, ensure pricing accuracy, and process customer transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
- Promote store loyalty programs and upsell additional products or services
- Assist with product demonstrations as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of electronic sales is a plus
- Familiarity with technology sales is an advantage
- Ability to upsell products or services to enhance the customer experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
