COMPANY DESCRIPTION

NYEG is a division of the FSG holding group and is the largest and leading Health, Wellness, Nutritional and Educational management group for all nonprofit social service agencies in the TRI State and nationally. NYEG’s reach extends to over 600 different programs and all the work we do is revolved around improving health and quality of life through the integration of all the services and programs we offer.

Duties include:

- Leading baseball and physical movement drills for youth
- Creating curriculum & lesson plans for each session.
- Facilitating classes that follow a social group work model
- Responsible for managing a classroom of 15-20 students
- Prep for classes: arriving 15 minutes to set up and prepare to start class on time.
- Clean up: must leave locations in the condition found, or cleaner.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, and scholars.
- Follow up after classes with NYEG Director of Operations.
- Maintain a positive, healthy, safe, supportive and welcoming environment.
- COVID vaccination REQUIRED._

**Requirements**:

- Relevant performance experience

Preferred but not necessary:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- At least 2 years of experience working with youth
- Teaching experience and classroom management skills
- A knowledge of, and willingness to teach obstacle course fitness

Schedule & Location:

- Every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3pm-5pm
- Tuesday: May 7, 14, 21, 28

June 4, 11
- Wednesday: May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

- This is a freelance/independent contractor position._

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (required)
- Baseball: 1 year (required)
