**Hospice Registered Nurse Position in Scranton, PA - Join a Compassionate Care Team**

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to enhance their exceptional team in Scranton, PA, and the surrounding areas. This full-time role is ideal for a compassionate professional who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

**Position Overview**:As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively to manage and deliver comprehensive patient care plans. This role is perfect for someone who values the importance of supporting patients through their end-of-life care journey.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**:Associate degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
- **Licensure**:Must hold a current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- **Experience**:Minimum of two years of RN experience; hospice experience is strongly preferred.
- **Travel**:Must be willing to spend about 20% of the workday traveling to and from patient locations.
- **Technology Skills**:Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software, tablets, and mobile phones is required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the care team to manage and implement patient care plans effectively.
- Provide compassionate support to patients within Scranton, PA, and nearby communities.
- Ensure timely and accurate charting to meet critical deadlines.
- Effectively self-manage time and maintain a flexible schedule to meet patient needs.

**Schedule and Shift Details**:

- This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate the needs of our care team and patients.
- Occasional on-call shifts may be required as part of the job responsibilities.

**Travel Requirements**:

- This role involves local travel to patient homes and care facilities within the region.
