Procurement Specialist, Sourcing

**Day in the Life**:
The Hertz Procurement team has a need for a detailed, process orientated individual who will support contract drafting and onboarding for our Procurement team in Estero, FL. As a Sourcing Specialist, you will report to the Category Director and be responsible for select Corporate Services Contracts and vendor relationships. This is an opportunity to help build a process to better service our customers while negotiating contracts across many disciplines. This individual will ensure agreements are created efficiently and accurately. It will include working with stakeholders across the organization as well as Legal, IT and many vendors.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Execute contracting strategies for assigned products, services and technologies
- Responsible to work collaboratively with Hertz business stakeholders to communicate and implement contracts that deliver continuous cost, performance and process improvements
- Execute and implement purchasing and sourcing strategies under the direction of the Indirect Procurement Organization.
- Design and execute category sourcing projects including strategy development, benchmarking, supplier negotiation, SOW and SLA development, award recommendation, business case presentation, risk management assessment and contract negotiation
- Utilize strong analytical skills to develop end to end TCO strategies and challenge the way commodities are currently contracted and sourced.
- Work with Hertz stakeholders to implement, maintain and manage contract and supplier development.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of current market trends, cost predictors and best practices.
- Provide knowledge and input to stakeholders by undertaking category research on competitive options and industry benchmarks.
- Manage high volume of supplier contract negotiations requiring focus on competitive sourcing, mitigating risk and SLA development
- Perform total cost of ownership evaluations. Stay current with competitive environment, monitoring and assessing changes that could impact category

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in contract management, procurement, or legal field
- Results-oriented, team player with excellent analytical, process, and problem-solving skills, the ability to start and finish tasks with mínimal management oversight, and a positive attitude
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail
- Well-developed analytical thinking with focus on business
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion or similar contract management system
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple assignments and achieve goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
