Paralegal

These responsibilities will include:

- Creating physical files for cases
- On appropriate cases, ensuring that proper notices are sent out
- Filing physical paperwork and keeping files organized
- Requesting medical records, disciplinary records, etc.
- Scheduling prison calls/visits
- Drafting form/administrative documents (e.g., EOAs, OSDEs, etc.)
- Filing with the court system (PA & NJ)
- Working with courthouse legal/court sheriff’s offices to effectuate service
- Ensuring complaints reinstated where appropriate
- Research about current addresses/business owners
- Physical mailings
- Assisting with drafting and responding to discovery
- Compiling and bate stamping document production (Including compiling and bates-stamping appendix documents to briefs and motions)
- Assisting with following up with clients regarding administrative things, such as keeping on top of clients to complete paperwork or provide information
- Acting as a point of contact for clients while unavailable (court, meetings, client visit, etc.)
- Assisting with keeping track of outstanding client payments/payment schedules and low retainers
