**Duties**:

- You will maintain, repair, and overhaul combustion-powered automotive vehicles, over-the-road trucks, and comparable vehicles.
- You will remove, replace, adjust, or clean defective parts or components such as fouled spark plugs, worn brake shoes, water pumps, engine gaskets, belts and hoses, etc.
- You will replace complete assemblies by removing a damaged engine and replacing it with a new engine.
- You will adjust brakes, transmission linkages, engine idle, voltage and current control valves, expansion valves and pressure regulator valves.
- You will perform automotive servicing such as recovering, evacuating and recharging air conditioners.
- You will perform visual inspection, auditory checks and/or tests on the ignition, fuel and electrical systems.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You will be required to possess your own tools.
