Laundry Supervisor

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to fill a Laundry Supervisor position located at Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for the training and supervision of subordinate staff and inmates. The Laundry Supervisor will be responsible for the collection, and transportation, including shipping and scheduling of laundry to and from the facility. Additionally, the incumbent will ensure that state maintenance and safety standards are met.

Incumbents are required to work with inmates within a locked detention facility in hot areas, with contaminated clothing, pushing heavy carts; and must be physically able to stand for long periods of time. Incumbents may be exposed to constant noise and the possibility of infections and skin irritants. Applicants must be willing to work various shifts including holidays and/or weekends.
