Job Title: Reservation Clerk

Job Summary:
Responsibilities but not limited to:

- Provide travel information, itineraries and prices
- Use selling techniques to promote packages
- Handle customer complaints or concerns
- Counsel guests on terms and conditions of travel e.g. cancellation policies
- Process payments and/or refunds
- Housekeeping coverage/duties as needed
- Ensures the all shared areas are neat and orderly
- Maintain knowledge of bed and breakfast policies including room rates, discounts, special offerings, and community events

**Requirements**:

- A secondary school diploma is preferred
- Strong sales experience is required
- Excellent telephone manner and etiquette are required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Previous experience in a hotel or bed and breakfast setting is preferred
- Ability to do thorough research
- Great organizational skills
- Meal prep, cooking and baking experience preferred
- Time management skills are an asset

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 24 per week
