Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payment collection, and providing excellent customer service. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining positive relationships with our clients and ensuring the financial stability of our company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions
- Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely manner
- Monitor customer accounts for any overdue payments or discrepancies
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances, payment reminders, and payment arrangements
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

**Experience**:

- Previous Long Term Care Experience Required
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to negotiate payment terms with customers
- Knowledge of governmental and third party payers
- Familiarity with debits, credits, and SOX compliance

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
