**Director Med Surg - Fredericksburg, VA**
- Schedule: Full-time, No Weekends
- Salary: $110K - $176K plus bonus incentives based on experience ️ Experience: 3+ years Director experience in an acute care setting (Med Surg Preferred)
- Will consider Nurse Manager with min. 5 years in an acute care setting
- Licensure: RN License or active compact license required
- Patient Ratio: 6:1
- ✈️ Relocation: Case by case basis

**Job Summary**:

- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple sites or functional areas.
- Foster accountability, transparency, and a culture of excellence.

- Collaborate with administrative team and physicians for service enhancements.

**Responsibilities**:

- ️ Implement evidence-based practices for patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Manage clinical practice variation for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor benchmarks, accreditations, and patient satisfaction metrics. ‍‍‍
-Develop strategies for employee recognition, support, and engagement.
- Participate in budget processes and address performance gaps.

**Position Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
- **Experience**: 3+ years Director experience in acute care (Med Surg Preferred) or 5+ years Nurse Manager experience.
- **Licensure**: RN License or active compact license.
