The Marvin Group, a leading defense contractor, plays a crucial role in the development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles. Based in Southern California near the Los Angeles International Airport, The Marvin Group consists of Marvin Engineering (MEC), Marvin Test Solutions (MTS) and Marvin Land Systems (MLS). Marvin Engineering designs and produces military Alternate Mission Equipment. Marvin Test Solutions designs and manufactures armament Test Equipment. Marvin Land Systems specializes in the design and build of power and thermal management systems. For over 60 years we have maintained “_A Tradition of Excellence_”, serving as a trusted source for our unwavering commitment to supporting all branches of the Department of Defense and our global allies. The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for the overall administrative tasks associated with the recruitment process of all open positions throughout the company. This position must possess considerable skill in multi-tasking, time management, attention to detail and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time sensitive projects. The Recruiting Coordinator helps to ensure a smooth hiring process while complying with the company policies and legal requirements.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Work tickets assigned through the Help Desk ticketing system
2. Open new job requisitions in company ATS including posting positions on job boards
4. Conduct telephone screenings
7. Prepare written job, promotion and transfer offers
8. Process new hire documentation including the coordination of background checks and medical/drug screening
10. Maintains weekly report on new hires
11. Other administrative tasks or projects as assigned by leadership

**SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources or minimum of 1+ year of HR Recruiter, Recruiting

Coordinator or HR Generalist experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to type 40+ wpm
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high volume environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to speak/read/write English
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- Medium-to-large office environment
- Fast paced office environment
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments

**SALARY RANGE**:
Base Salary Range (Inglewood only): $20 - $ 22 per hour
