s of patient care, overseeing MRI technologists, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The operator will work closely with radiologists, referring physicians, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless and professional patient experience. *Key Responsibilities:*
- *Operational Management:*
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the MRI imaging center.
- Schedule and coordinate MRI appointments to optimize the utilization of MRI machines.
- Ensure the center operates in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- *Patient Care:*
- Ensure a high standard of patient care, comfort, and safety.
- Address and resolve patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly.
- Ensure accurate patient information is collected and maintained.
- *Technical Oversight:*
- Supervise and support MRI technologists in performing high-quality imaging procedures.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of MRI equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with MRI machines and coordinate repairs as needed.
- *Quality Assurance:*
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure imaging accuracy and safety.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of imaging procedures and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including radiation safety standards.
- *Staff Management:*
- Recruit, train, and supervise MRI technologists and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- *Administrative Duties:*
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient data, and operational logs.
- Prepare and manage the center's budget and financial performance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the MRI imaging center.
- *Customer Service:*
- Enhance patient and referring physician satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient experience and service quality. *Qualifications:*
- *Education:*
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced certification in MRI technology preferred.
- *Experience:*
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an MRI imaging center, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing imaging center operations, staff, and patient care.
- *Skills:*
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient in the use of MRI equipment and related technology.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in medical imaging.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
- *Certifications:*
- Registered MRI Technologist (ARMRIT or ARRT (MR)) certification.
- CPR certification.
- Paid time off Schedule:
