**You must have**:

- 90 hrs (Preschool)
- ADA
- Basic Health & Safety
- 9 hour communication course or college course
- At least 1 year experience as a Lead Teacher
- A letter from your former center confirming your year experience

**You must know how to**:

- Communicate with parents and staff effectively
- Understand policies and procedures
- Execute policies and procedures
- Follow through on assignments given
- Manage a classroom
- Ask for help when needed
- Report to work on time

We are looking to build a team with teachers who love children, exhibits good work ethics and understands professionalism.

**Duties**:

- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Teach basic math concepts and skills to promote early numeracy development
- Provide physical education opportunities to enhance gross motor skills and coordination
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the daycare setting
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment for learning and growth
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate daily activities
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's development and progress

Qualifications:

- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per year
