Protect Toshiba related personnel, assets, and property.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide controlled access for Toshiba facilities. Prevent property crime and crimes against persons in accordance with - and within the confines of the Penal Code of the State of Texas. Enforce company policies and protocols, and the standard operating procedures for Toshiba uniformed security personnel
- Provide administrative support for the Security Department including, but not limited to:

- Maintain and verify logs for controlled access of vehicles and personnel
- Prepare and edit Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, Vehicle Usage Reports, and other various security related reports
- Participate, coordinate, and direct assets in security vulnerability assessments and security surveys
- Monitor alarm unit and camera systems
- Understand and coordinate with others for all alarm protocols
- Conduct or arrange security patrols
- Conduct or oversee onsite traffic control
- Coordinate or direct after-hours technician calls
- Provide reaction support including traumatic casualty care and first aid
- Coordinate and maintain vehicle pool.

**Travel**:

- Limited, as needed

**EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED**:

- Minimum active Non-Commissioned Security Officer registration from TX DPS Private Security Bureau.
- Preferred active Commissioned Security Officer and Personal Protection Officer endorsement from TX DPS Private Security Bureau.
- Must have an active and issued TX Drivers License.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- 1-3 years of security experience
- valid driver's license
- active security license preferred
- 5 years private security motor and foot patrol experience with at least 2 years of electronic surveillance and electronic access control experience to include, but not limited to: Keltron alarm and warning system, CCTV monitors, card key access systems.
- Experience directing and leading a diverse component security watch section.
- Quality customer services skills to accommodate after-hours assistance and direction.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, particularly MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Duties of this job require the employee to regularly stand for extended periods, walk long distances, climb stairs, run, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- The employee must have full use of both hands and full range of motion on all limbs.
- The employee must be able to listen more closely and acutely than normal daily life to accurately perceive information, attitudes, and persons with atypical interpersonal communications skills.
- The employee must have natural or corrected vision to a level that allows superb close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, ability to discern colors, and work in a night setting.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT:

- Safe driving habits to avoid traffic accidents on and off the Toshiba property.
- Safe work habits; using caution while working during the day, due to the high volume of traffic on the property.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may experience potential hazardous and dangerous situations involved in intervening in anti-social, illegal, or violent behavior.
- The employee must safely work in situations which may require specialized personal protective equipment. Work is performed indoors and outdoors where safety and health considerations exists from weather extremes, physical effort, and dangerous incidents.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The employee must be available and able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
