**BENEFITS**:
In addition, RCMA offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This includes a $40,000 Basic Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Insurance covered 100% by RCMA. **PURPOSE OF POSITION**:Assists in administering, organizing, and coordinating the organization’s Employee Group Benefits Programs in compliance with organization policies and government regulations. Performs analytical work on employee group benefit programs to ensure compliance. Assists on a variety of special projects, handles organization benefits issues, and inquiries, and ensures ongoing collaborative relationships with vendors and employees.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; however, other duties may be assigned.**
- Handles all benefit enrollment, termination, qualifying events, status change processes, and updates in the systems.
- Participates and provides benefit guidance to employees during open enrollment events and throughout the year either in person or remotely.
- Analyzes and reviews monthly insurance reports to ensure prompt payment.
- Serves as a liaison between employees, benefits vendors, service providers, and brokers to resolve personal and customer service issues efficiently.
- Responds to inquiries and assist employees with enrollment procedures and requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Provides training in assigned functional area(s) in person, remotely, or during open enrollment as required.
- Ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits.
- Analyzes benefit data to monitor program effectiveness and/or make recommendations for improvements.

**INSURANCES**
- Ensures all new hires, status changes, and terminations are updated correctly within ADP Workforce Now.
- Updates terminations, hires, eligible, status changes, and/or qualify events within each carrier.
- Updates Workforce Now for each employee who elected Cobra insurance with the pertinent insurance plan(s).
- Reviews monthly insurance (medical, basic life, LTD) reports to ensure invoices are paid on time.
- Troubleshoots and resolves insurance-related issues/discrepancies using ADP Support, ADP Service Center, and Workforce Now.
- Notifies and ensures ACA-eligible employees to either elect and/or waive coverage within ESS.
- Troubleshoots any benefit issues that could impact EDI connections.
- Ensures employees who elect voluntary life and/or short-term disability coverage outside of their initial enrollment period complete a statement of health (EOI).
- Provides employees with wellness gift cards when proof has been provided and updates tracking log in SharePoint.
- Provides customer service to employees regarding benefit questions and/or deductions.
- Notifies each insurance carrier representative of any out-of-sequence discrepancies that could impact employee services and/or invoices.
- Handles all Family Medical Leave and Discretionary Unpaid Leave for assigned areas.

**MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Associate’s degree with 1-3 years of previous job-related experience in an administrative position, preferably in Human Resources to include familiarity with employee-related benefits, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Pay: $37,076.58 - $48,190.77 per year
