Job Summary

The Laboratory Services scientist will be responsible for the validation, implementation, and maintenance of the Research and Development’s Laboratory instruments and critical equipment to meet established and expected quality, regulatory and customer requirements.

**Duties**:

- Responsible for the maintenance of laboratory equipment quality based on the regulatory requirements and internal/external best demonstrated practices. Assures that systems procedures are in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.- Responsible for assurance that all equipment/utility qualifications meet corporate policies and procedures.- Revise existing SOPs for Lab Services systems/equipment or Corporate Policies as required.- Responsible for the periodic review program for qualified instruments and environmental chambers.- Create and complete Change Controls as needed for the Lab Service group.- Maintain expertise in areas of responsibility through ongoing training and participating in industry associations.- Maintain document filing and logbook management for the Lab Services group.- Provide a backup to the System Administrator for routine administration duties.- Schedules and executes equipment re-qualification per Standard Operation Procedure- All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities

**Requirements**:

- BS degree in Science or Engineering related field.
- 3 + years of validation experience.
- Working knowledge of GMP regulations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Self starter
- Good judgment in technical assessments
- IT generalist aptitude, general understanding of desktop/server management, data management, and network infrastructure is a plus
