***JOB SUMMARY FOR RECEPTIONIST**

The Receptionist will perform various routine clerical tasks in support of the business office.

**RESPONSIBILITIES FOR RECEPTIONIST**
- Provides general office support for the entire facility in support of administrative functions of all departments.
- Establishes, develops, maintains, and updates the filing system for the administrative office and the facility. Retrieves information from files when needed.
- Sorts and distributes mail.
- Provides coverage for the front desk.
- Assists the Administrator and other department heads with the daily operations of the entire facility. They may be assigned temporary or long-term assignments in various departments.
- Answers the telephone in a prompt, professional manner.
- Greets visitors promptly in a professional manner.
- Assists with HR duties as assigned.
- Responsible for scheduling the transportation of our residents. Ensuring there is communication between departments regarding resident's appointments and transportation needs.
- Responsible for completing background checks for all residents within 24 hours of admission.
- Ability to work independently.
- All other duties as assigned by the Administrator and Business Office Manager
