**Position Purpose**

This role is responsible for supervising, planning, organizing and participating in the activities of the warehouse and distribution operations. This role also includes the responsibility of staff training and evaluation against set metrics, distribution of work assignments, and adherence to regulatory and compliance guidelines. This position will be required to know and adhere to company's Quality policy and uphold quality standards as well as conform to policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks**
- Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including customer service.
- Identify Customer Requirements and recommend new proficient and efficient processes.
- Supervise all customer service needs, as required, for assigned warehouse and distribution clients.
- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers.
- Insure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including TSA, US Customs and FDA

regulations.
- Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store and deliver materials, supplies or equipment;
complete packing slips for shipments as assigned.
- Route, schedule, pack and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee

deliveries and pick-ups.
- Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required; supervise the assembly of inventory printouts and catalogs as required.
- Monitor automated warehousing system; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors and control key screens as required.
- Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure

proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Observe and adhere to health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe

and orderly condition.
- Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; advise of budget-related needs; assist in the bid process for various supplies as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Warehouse and Distribution Operations.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Provide Quality support and assistance while performing above mentioned duties.

**Qualifications**
- Operation of assigned vehicle and computer equipment.
- Understanding of warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, customer service and

terminology.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Application of proper methods for storing equipment, materials and supplies.
- Accurate and detailed record-keeping techniques.
- Inventory methods and practices.
- Principles and practices of training and providing work direction.
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
- Automated warehouse inventory system knowledge.
- Plan, organize, supervise and participate in the operations and activities of the warehouse.
- Train, supervise and evaluate personnel.
- Maintain inventory.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; Writes simple correspondence; Presents information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.

**Special Position Requirements**
- Ability to obtain Security Threat Assessment and US Customs Clearance Credentials.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

**Work Hours and Environment**
- The potential for out of scope hours is possible based on business needs.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.

**Preferences**
- High School Education or GED Equivalent
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
