Job Overview:
Einstein Tutoring LLC is seeking a dedicated SAT Tutor with experience in special education to join our team. As an SAT Tutor, you will be responsible for providing educational assistance and guidance to students, with a specific focus on those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
**Duties**:
- Conduct one-on-one SAT tutoring sessions tailored to the needs of students with hearing impairments.
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans to address individual student needs and goals.
- Assist students in understanding SAT course material and test-taking strategies.
- Help students improve study skills, academic performance, and confidence in their abilities.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student learning and development.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or related field, with a focus on special education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication methods used by deaf students.
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the unique needs of deaf or hard-of-hearing students.
- Knowledge of learning technology and educational resources that support students with hearing impairments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
