**Residential Childcare Worker - Adolescent Girls**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Childcare Worker to join our team in providing care and support to adolescent girls in a residential setting. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where the girls can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Provide direct care and supervision to adolescent girls residing in the facility.
2. Establish positive and supportive relationships with the girls, acting as a role model and mentor.
3. Implement and oversee daily routines and activities, including meals, chores, and recreational outings.
4. Foster a therapeutic environment conducive to emotional healing and personal growth.
5. Collaborate with case managers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of resident behavior, progress, and any incidents.
7. Monitor and ensure the safety and security of the residential facility at all times.
8. Respond effectively to crisis situations, using appropriate de-escalation techniques and following established protocols.
9. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
10. Adhere to all regulatory standards and agency policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to learn and be trained in understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and adolescent behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
