**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Asset Protection Associate. As an Asset Protection Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our company's assets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in loss prevention, criminal investigation, or law enforcement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the premises, employees, and customers
- Conduct regular patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities
- Utilize CCTV systems to monitor and identify suspicious behavior
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- Write detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and any other relevant activities
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as necessary
- Implement and enforce company policies related to asset protection
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with any security-related concerns

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of report writing procedures and techniques
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and diffuse potentially volatile situations
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and techniques
- Experience in criminal investigation is a plus
- Knowledge of surveillance systems and their operation

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in criminal justice or a related field is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
