Hotel Maintenance Technician

Austin, United States EXTENDED STAY AMERICA Full time

seeks a qualified and hard working Maintenance Personnel who is multi-tasking and takes great pride in what they do. Must be able to work well without direct supervision, whether you're working alone or in conjunction with other hotel department members.
- Perform routine maintenance such as painting, carpet/floor cleaning, caulking, etc.
- Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems, room furniture, fixtures and other items in the hotel
- Perform duties of the company’s preventative maintenance program (i.e. daily checking of the rooms for any issues)
- Report major repair needs to the General Manager
- Assist in setup/cleanup of guest and meeting rooms
- Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed, such as collecting/delivering dirty linen to laundry, assisting with laundry or housekeeping as needed
- Assisting the Housekeeping Supervisor in other duties as needed
- **Requirement**:

- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
- Must have flexible schedule
- Must be able to work weekends
