Position Details- Full-time Only - Monday - Friday, Daytime hours, 8 hours per day- Permanent position (not a summer role)- Includes on-call duties each week- No weekends or holidays (unless on call)
**Requirements**:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience- Preferred, not required: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistance program, Certified Nursing Assistance program or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field- Experience as a Medical assistant, Patient Care Tech/Nursing Assistant or similar position highly preferred- Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy & medical terminology required, basic computer experience, able to take vitals and perform CPR- CPR (Basic life support) issued by American Heart Association upon hire.
Job Duties
- Room patients, take vital signs
- Maintain the procedure room set up, equipment care and maintenance
- Assist with specimen collection
- Assist physicians during procedures
- Disinfect instruments
- Assist with patient care under the supervision of the RN
