Our Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) assist youth and adult individuals with disabilities and special needs in a day service and in-home setting. This person is responsible for helping with daily living activities such as toileting, bathing, housekeeping, and community activities.

**Here is what you can do for Wabash Center as our Direct Support Professional (DSP)**:

- Have an interest in and empathy for persons with disabilities
- Provide personal care support for those that we serve
- Assist individuals with their finances, shopping and bill paying and other daily requirements as needed
- Provide assistance to those we serve for their medical needs, including medication administration, and timely reporting of any medical issues/concerns
- Implement high needs plans and/or behavior plans as outlined by the immediate supervisor and interdisciplinary team
- Ensure community activities are occurring as planned by providing transportation and care to those we serve for the various activities
- Ability to write reports and document observations and activities
- Provide individualized attention to those we serve, which encourages each individual's ability to maintain or attain the highest physical and mental well-being
- Be a rock star representative of Wabash Center to the individuals we serve and their family members or guardians

- Shift Premiums
- Evening Shift - Additional $1.00 per hour
- Overnight Shift - Additional $2.00 per hour
- Weekend Shift - Additional $3.00 per hour
