Job Summary:

- Ensure orders are packed and shipped efficiently, as well as accurately

Essential Functions:

- Pull orders using an Order Picker
- Prepare orders for shipment by scanning and packaging merchandise.
- Pack an average of 1,500 orders/skus/item combination per day.
- Sort outbound orders according to shipping methods/carriers.
- Restock and clean packing work stations.
- Locate and store shipping material deliveries.
- Weigh and label packages for shipment.
- Label and package merchandise.
- Operate a pallet jack, cart, dolly, forklift and/or other various machines
- Report order discrepancies to the Shipping Supervisor.
- Follow up on all priority orders (Airs, Amazon orders, etc.) to ensure they are all shipped same day.
- Pack and label Light Speed (Retail) orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Offload orders from belt to appropriate containers/carts
- Break down/clean up any trash/empty cardboard that is produced throughout the day.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with safety policies, procedures and laws.
- Serve as a back up to other departments in the warehouse including, but not limited to, inventory, packing orders, receiving and assisting other warehouse supervisors as needed.
- Light cleaning such as consistently maintaining a clean workspace and contributing to the overall cleanliness of the warehouse (kitchen, bathroom, breakroom, trash, etc.).
- Other tasks otherwise not specified.

**Skills**:

- Extremely detail oriented.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Fast learner.
- Ability to multitask.
- Computer literate.
- Proficient in the English language.
- Excellent time management.
- Teamwork oriented.
- Friendly, flexible, and patient demeanor.

Knowledge:

- Requires at least a high school diploma or GED.

Equipment:

- Position requires consistent use of a computer, monitors, mouse, keyboard, copier, scanner gun, box cutter, pallet jack, tape gun, dolly, IPod, air pillow machine, and phone.

Physical Job Requirements:

- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting and stooping on a constant basis.
- Climbing stairs and ladders on a daily basis.
- Viewing information on monitors, phone, scanner, and paperwork.
- Manual dexterity to operate all phone, computer and warehouse equipment.
- Regularly lift boxes up to 40 lbs. (anything heavier should be lifted with additional team members).

Pay: $16.90 per hour
