Music Teacher

Overview:
**Duties**:

- Develop and implement engaging music lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels
- Instruct students on music theory, history, and performance techniques
- Organize and lead group music activities to support social studies curriculum
- Provide individualized attention to students to help them achieve their musical goals
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

- Experience working with children or students in an educational setting
- Proficiency in playing musical instruments and understanding music theory
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
- Ability to plan and execute effective lesson plans tailored to student needs
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to adapt teaching methods accordingly

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience in adult education or teaching music to adults
- Familiarity with theater or performance arts
- Ability to sew or create costumes for musical performances
- Basic cooking skills for incorporating music into culinary arts lessons
