Coburn Chiropractic Center is a growing business with multiple offices, this position is for our WEST COLUMBIA clinic. We are caring, fun, and passionate about Chiropractic Care. Pay is based on experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answer phones with a smile
- Takes responsibility for the doctor's schedule
- Schedule the patient's full treatment plan
- Be the patient's CHEERLEADER
- Input patient's information into their file and run their insurance benefits
- Understand a patient's insurance and effectively communicate the cost of their treatment plan to them
- Cheerlead and encourage our patients to pursue mobility and keep mobility
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of insurance copays, co insurance, and deductibles
- Math skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor
- Someone who puts effort into learning patients names
- Enjoys helping doctors to focus on patient care by anticipating their needs and keep a high level of communication
- Enjoys life
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems or willing to learn
- Someone who thinks they are funny
- Someone who says "please" and "thank you" often
- Honest
- Can have FUN while still maintaining responsibility
- Gets excited about events that celebrate patients
- Capable and willing to celebrate other's success
- Enjoys speaking to patients in the office and on the phone
- Detailed oriented
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to assess patients' needs and provide appropriate assistance
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems or willing to learn
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work setting:
- In-person
**Education**:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Insurance verification: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- Spanish (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
