**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer service, whether in person, online, or by phone.
- “Customers” include: approximately 1,300 active employees and 700 retirees, and various service providers for benefits, finance, and reporting.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as workers’ compensation, leaves, policy support, benefits, compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise
- Responsible to triage inquiries or escalate as appropriate
- Assist with the administration of compensation and benefit plans
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Conduct employee onboarding processing for personnel, payroll, and benefits
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Help organize and administer training and development initiatives, and performance management
- Undertake administrative tasks and events around the implementation of benefit initiatives such as annual open enrollment
- Maintain, edit, and/or create:

- 100% electronic employee files and records
- Munis records and processes
- DocuSign envelopes
- Document databases from web site form submissions
- Web pages and forms
- Responses to audit, FOIA, and subpoena requests, often complex Excel compilations
- Required to interact with a wide variety of audiences and address each appropriately
- Exercise discretion as a confidential employee with frequent access to sensitive, privileged or confidential information
- Administer support in the negotiation of employee benefits with the PEC
- Gain a deeper knowledge of HR, Benefits and Payroll practices to grow the position into a greater level of responsibilities/succession planning
- Perform a variety of related duties

Pay: $33.21 - $35.99 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
